Your files stay on your device. File2Any does not upload, store, or inspect the files you process with the tools on this site.
File Processing
Conversion, compression, and transformation happen inside your browser using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and web workers where needed. Your file contents are not transmitted to our servers.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect file contents, file names, file metadata, extracted text from your files, or derived conversion output. We also do not run site analytics or advertising scripts on File2Any pages.
Cookies and Local Storage
File2Any does not use tracking cookies. Some tools may store non-sensitive browser preferences locally on your device so the interface can remember settings between visits.
Third-Party Requests
The site loads typography from Google Fonts. Those font requests go directly from your browser to Google and do not include any file content you process with File2Any.
Data Storage
Files are processed in memory and released by the browser when you close the tab, refresh the page, or clear the tool state. Nothing is written to disk unless you explicitly download an output file.
Children's Privacy
Our service is available to users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
